The free Libby app is the easiest way to get started with digital books, audiobooks, and magazines from your public library. Libby is available for Android, iOS, and in your browser at libbyapp.com. Click the image above to get started!
How to use Libby by Overdrive – a reading app:
- To access, click on either of the links above for “Libby App” (use this if you want to install the Libby app on your phone, Kindle, or other mobile device), or the link that says “libbyapp.com” if you’re on a laptop or desktop computer. Once you arrive at the site, you will be asked if you have a library card. If you’re a member of our library, click yes, and proceed to follow the prompts to choose your library from the drop-down menu and enter your library card number (found on the back of your library card, by the barcode)-
- From here you will have access to ebooks, magazine and audiobooks. The home page tends to show the newer and most popular books – you can put a hold on one of these but it may take a while before it becomes available.
- You will see options for “preferences” and “explore”.
- Use the preferences option to personalize your reading selections, or use the explore option to browse by author, genre, or topic.
Please give us a call at the library if you have any problems logging in.
